The 17th Valencia Boat Show will run from 28 October to 1 November 2026 at Marina Port Valencia, beside Veles e Vents. At the presentation on 22 October, organisers announced 160 boats, 140 brands and a 15% increase in exhibitors compared with 2025. Exhibition space is fully booked, according to the press dossier, with sailing and motor boats joined by two free-access areas and a broad waterfront programme.

The show has therefore reached full occupancy after reporting 95% in September. Show director and Unión de Empresas Náuticas (UEN) president Isabel Gil Forteza says the aim is to welcome prospective boat buyers alongside people interested in the industry and those discovering boating for the first time.

Sailing and motor boats, afloat and ashore

The Floating Area will bring together boats on the water, with sea trials arranged directly with the brands. The Dry Marina will complement it with boats ashore, engines, accessories, technology, maintenance and professional services. Both are ticketed commercial areas.

Announced exhibitors include Absolute Yachts, Azimut, Beneteau, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Hanse, Jeanneau, Nautor Swan, Prestige, Princess, Rodman, Saxdor Yachts, Sealine and X-Yachts. Bali Catamarans, Excess, Fountaine Pajot, Lagoon and Sunreef Yachts are among the multihull brands represented.

Business remains central to the event. In the organisers' survey of the 2025 edition, 35% of responding exhibitors said they had completed sales during the show, with transactions ranging from €10,000 to more than €300,000. Those are survey findings, rather than a sales forecast for 2026.

Two free-access areas to discover boating

Zona Expo will introduce visitors to clubs, sailing schools, federations, tourist destinations, training and nautical leisure. Next door, Dock & Roll in Plaza de la Sal will offer food, crafts, music and family activities. Entry to both areas is free.

Saudade Sailing Club will run open sailing trips from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31, with two daily sessions: 10:00–11:15 and 11:15–12:30. Advance registration is available at its stand or via [email protected]. The club also plans women's sailing training, technical talks and social gatherings for sailors.

The regional sailing federation, Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana, will offer sailing activities and the regional lateen-sailing championship. The training schooner Tirant Primer will welcome visitors free of charge at the times listed in the programme, except on Friday. A Salvamar rescue vessel from Salvamento Marítimo and the Spanish Navy vessel Formentor are expected on Saturday 31 and Sunday 1; visitors should check the latest visiting times.

How top-level racing technology reaches everyday boating

On Thursday 29, from 10:00 to 12:30, the Veles e Vents hall will host a round table on Valencia's role in the future of boating and the technological legacy of elite racing. Sponsored by Caponetto Hueber, it will explore how America's Cup and SailGP innovation is influencing boating, the marine industry and port infrastructure.

Speakers will include Mario Caponetto of Caponetto Hueber; Marc García-Manzana, the Valencian government's director general for ports; Toni Alquézar, CEO of Los Gallos SailGP Spain; and Yiyo Losada of King Marine. The professional programme also includes VBS Night from 18:30 on Thursday, when exhibitors host clients after the show closes to the public, and a meeting of the regional sports industry cluster on Friday.

Dock & Roll: live music, food and family activities

Food trucks and a craft and design market with La Séptima will accompany a programme extending beyond the boat exhibition's opening hours. Inside Veles e Vents, visitors can see Horizontes de Luz by Alejandra Gandía, with Blasco & Manu Iranzo (CLC Arte).
