Oyster Yachts has unveiled the Oyster P60, its first bluewater power catamaran, at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on 29 October 2026. Developed with Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, the new yacht combines a target range of up to 3,500 nautical miles with generous living spaces and access to the Oyster World Rally.

The P60 is designed for an owner couple to operate with or without crew. It extends Oyster’s cruising philosophy to experienced motor-yacht owners, newcomers supported by the yard’s training programme, and sailors who want to continue making long passages without handling sails.
A target range of 3,500 nautical miles
Oyster is targeting 3,500 nautical miles at 8 knots and 1,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. The lower-speed target exceeds the approximately 3,000-nautical-mile passage from the Galápagos to the Marquesas, the longest leg of the Oyster World Rally. These are design targets, rather than measured sea-trial results.
Slender hulls, 6,000 litres of fuel and 1,000 litres of fresh water underpin an intended cruising profile of 8–12 knots. Galley, refrigeration and freezer capacity are designed for extended stays aboard. The emphasis is on longer passages and greater flexibility between fuel stops, whether cruising Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean or spending a summer in the Mediterranean.
121 m² of shared living space
The flybridge, aft cockpit, saloon and forward cockpit together provide 121 m² of social space. Overall length is provisionally 19.42 m, with a 9.35 m beam and 1.70 m draught. Bridgedeck clearance of 1.00 m at half load is intended to help reduce wave slamming.
A bright central saloon connects the outdoor living areas. Accommodation comprises a central 18 m² owner’s suite with private access to the aft deck, two or three guest cabins and optional crew quarters. Galley-up and galley-down arrangements allow owners to choose how to divide cooking, entertaining and private spaces.
A flybridge designed around life aboard
The 33 m² flybridge combines a single central helm with a hardtop, bar, lounge and raised forward daybed. Its arrangement keeps the person at the helm close to family and guests, both under way and at anchor.
Below, the 40 m² aft cockpit can change from shaded dining to a sea-facing sunpad or a fishing and watersports area. A hydraulic tender platform also serves as a bathing platform, providing direct access to the water.
Twin shafts and accessible machinery
The engineering concept combines high freeboard, twin engines with shaft drives and two independent fuel tanks with transfer capability. Two separate engine rooms, accessed from the deck, provide a total of 15 m² of machinery space aft, separated from the accommodation to limit noise.
Widely spaced engines and a bow thruster assist close-quarters manoeuvring. Optional hardtop solar panels and a substantial lithium battery bank are intended to reduce generator use at anchor. All specifications remain preliminary and subject to change; range and performance figures are design targets.
Ocean cruising with Oyster support
P60 owners will have access to commissioning, Bluewater Academy training, the After Sales Team, the Global Service Network and the Oyster Explorers Club, as well as owner events and the supported Oyster World Rally.
Oyster CEO Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke describes the P60 as an expansion of the yard’s bluewater approach into purpose-designed power catamarans, while emphasising that sailing yachts remain central to its future. Designer Olivier Racoupeau highlights the combination of offshore range, multihull space and handling suitable for an owner couple.
The P60 is Oyster’s third major reveal of the autumn, following the Oyster C60 sailing catamaran at Cannes and the Oyster 36M sailing flagship at Monaco. Together, the three projects extend the brand’s range across sailing monohulls, sailing catamarans and power catamarans.
