The SHIFT 787 is a 24-metre performance cruising catamaran concept developed by Shift Yachts for a private client. The brief combines fast passage-making, privacy for guests and comfortable working conditions for the crew in extreme climates.
Its proposed structure uses carbon prepreg and aerospace-grade Nomex honeycomb cores. The aim is to limit weight while providing the accommodation and systems expected aboard a large cruising catamaran.
Concept design announced in September 2026. Specifications and arrangements are preliminary. All gallery images are digital renderings supplied by © Shift Yachts.
Interiors
The proposed accommodation provides for six to eight guests in ensuite cabins and four crew. The cabin count and final layout have not been specified.
An internal forward cockpit, fully shaded and air-conditioned, forms the crew’s working area. Separate routes connect it directly to the galley, working decks and crew quarters without crossing the saloon or guest spaces.
The saloon can remain separate from the working areas or open to the apparent breeze while sailing. This arrangement is intended to balance guest privacy with a close connection to life under sail.
- Guests: 6–8, depending on configuration.
- Crew accommodation: 4.
- Guest cabins: ensuite; number not specified.
