Model overview

The SHIFT 54+ is a performance cruising sailing catamaran designed by Hakes Design, with a 16.46 m hull length and 19.37 m overall length. Its design combines a light platform, asymmetric daggerboards and generous living spaces for cruising with a small crew.

Designed around sailing

An aft-set mast and centrally concentrated weight are intended to limit pitching. Long bows, deep daggerboards and transom rudders angled outwards by 6° form part of the design's approach to handling and control. The drawings show carbon and alloy rig options; the final specification depends on the selected configuration.

Connected living spaces

The saloon and full-width cockpit are designed to open into one living area. Deep seating, an island galley, generous walkways and warm interior finishes support extended stays aboard. Sheltered steering positions and adaptable cockpit seating provide spaces for sailing, dining and relaxing. The gallery includes cabin, bathroom and layout views.
