The Annapolis Powerboat Show returns to City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland, on October 8–11, 2026, for its 54th edition. Organizers expect more than 350 boats, led by the Askari 65 world premiere, alongside sea trials, practical training and activities for visitors of all ages.

Debuts and brokerage boats

The Askari 65 leads the new arrivals: an aluminum cruiser with a builder-estimated range of about 2,300 nautical miles at 8.5 knots, or up to 3,100 nautical miles at economical displacement speeds in ideal conditions. Other boats making their Annapolis debut include the Aspen C110, Hunt 56 and Omikron OT-60, plus Riverside Marine’s Bayliner V22 and Sportsman Heritage 251.

The Brokerage Dock returns outside Dock D with a selection of used boats, allowing visitors to compare new models with previously owned craft.

Sea trials and hands-on learning

The PropTalk Demo Dock at Dock K will offer trials aboard selected boats for qualified buyers. Appointments are arranged directly with exhibitors; contacting them before visiting is advisable for those hoping to reserve a time slot.

Yacht Basin seminars are included with admission. BoatUS On-Water Training offers three-hour courses with USCG-licensed captains and no more than four students per class, covering introductory boating, precision docking and open-water handling. Courses welcome participants aged 12 and over, women-only classes are available, and registration includes show admission.

A new route around City Dock

The waterfront redevelopment has prompted changes to the tent locations, sizes and orientation. The revised layout adds four bars and retains gathering places such as the No Wake Zone in Yacht Basin. Family activities include Kids Corner, run by the Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland, and the Dockside Ducks hunt. Visitors can also register for door prizes at the entrances.
