Valencia Boat Show 2026 brings together international launches, two projects developed in the Valencian Community and hybrid and electric propulsion. The LYRA 35, Balea 23 and a 1959 Riva Super Florida converted by ISER Marine offer different approaches to innovation in leisure boating. The 17th edition remains open until Sunday 1 November at Marina Port Valencia, beside Veles e Vents.

International launches on the pontoons

The Aquila 45 Sail, which made its international debut at September’s Cannes Yachting Festival, is represented by Windward Yachts. The Absolute Navetta 50, another Cannes debut, is on display with ProBrava Group. Operations director Claudia Pujeu López highlights the bright interior, generous outdoor spaces and sea views of the smallest Navetta, and reports positive early reactions at the show.

Pleamar is exhibiting the De Antonio D36 Cabin alongside other boats from the yard, including the D60, its largest model. Xiram Náutica presents the Saxdor 460 GTC, launched at boot Düsseldorf in January 2026, while Navaltec shows the Bayliner V22. The organisers highlight the Aquila 45 Sail’s European Yacht of the Year 2027 nomination and name the D36 Cabin, Saxdor 460 GTC and Bayliner V22 as Best of Boats finalists, the latter in the Best for Beginners category.

Valmar Yachts adds the OKEAN 57 to the line-up, with folding side platforms that extend the usable deck and outdoor living space.

LYRA 35: a fast cruiser with hybrid propulsion

The LYRA 35 is making its boat show debut in Valencia. Created by LYRAWORKS and designed by Michele Molino, the 35-foot sailing yacht was developed with Náutica Aza, which also handles sales. Launched during the Trofeo de la Reina, it grew from LYRAWORKS CEO Luis Alonso Pomar’s wish to combine racing performance with greater cruising comfort.

It has a carbon deck, an epoxy resin-infused hull and hybrid propulsion using Vetus technology. The Venturer version is aimed at family cruising and includes a garage for an electric tender. The sportier Racer has an open-transom cockpit.

Balea 23: the first boat from a new Dénia builder

Balea Yachts is presenting the Balea 23, an eight-metre boat that launches the Dénia-based brand. CEO Christian Gato Baydan, a former rally driver, initially set out to build a boat for himself before recognising its commercial potential and establishing the company.

The project aims to combine design, strength and sporty performance in an accessible package. Gato Baydan identifies affordability and bringing more people into boating as priorities for the model.

A 1959 Riva with a 50 kW electric motor

ISER Marine has converted a 1959 Riva Super Florida to fully electric propulsion. Its original six-cylinder engine has been replaced by a 50 kW motor and a 46 kWh battery bank.

Jaime Cardells, CEO and founder of the Valencian company, explains that the team first scanned the entire boat and produced detailed drawings. The installation was designed to preserve its handling characteristics and centres of gravity. It is ISER Marine’s fifth conversion and its first seagoing project, following work on fishing boats on the Albufera lagoon.

Technology transferred from top-level racing

On Thursday 29 October, Veles e Vents hosted the round table “From Valencia to the future of boating: the technological legacy of top-level competition”, sponsored by Caponnetto Hueber. Speakers were Mario Caponnetto of Caponnetto Hueber; Marc García Manzana, director general for Ports; Toni Alquézar, CEO of Los Gallos SailGP Spain; and Yiyo Losada of King Marine.

Part of the show’s professional programme, the discussion explored how advances in top-level racing can support technological development in the wider boating industry.
